According to Webster’s Dictionary, “resiliency is the process and outcome of successfully adapting to difficult and challenging life experiences.” Many people faced with heartbreak often become couch potatoes, unable to move. That was never, nor ever will be my style. Working, moving, searching and delving into a multitude of projects that embellish my life helped me when faced with tragedy. That energy pushed me forward daily. Toughness is visible in each painting I create. Vigorous strokes, lashes, and blows against the canvas surface represent my resilience, my spirit and my enthusiasm. And it is with that vitality, stamina and intensity that I explore my work.
